This project will consist of an external marketing strategy, which will increase the company’s brand awareness and candidate’s engagement. Improvements to the application process and system by streamlining the current process, acquiring new recruitment software, and creation of a recruitment pipeline in targeted areas.

Training Cohort Project

The purpose of the Training Cohort Project is to group the newly recruited Apple employee as they learn about the company and their positions during their probationary period. The project scope will include an educational curriculum, senior employee presentations, and a roster of mentors that will serve as resources for the cohort participants. The goal of this project is to increase interest in technical functional areas by 20% in women and underrepresented minority groups. In 2018, women made up only 23% of technical positions, and underrepresented minority groups, not including Asian, made up 17% of technical positions.

Department Rotation Project

The purpose of the Department Rotation Project is to let new employees have the opportunity to rotate jobs in the company, help employees engaged in the company and identify what’s the strengths and weaknesses of the employees. This project scope will help the company to find the future leader throughout the new employees, it will also include education, mentor career suggestions, and team competitions. The goal of this project is to use this opportunity to build new employees’ ability to adapt to work in different types of positions and working environments, let employees have more ability and let different departments become more diverse, finally helps employees no matter genders, nationalities, education levels, different majors to have more opportunities to identify what’s the best position for themselves.
