The biblical definition of quality is very different from the usual corporate concept. On the other hand, the Biblical definition of quality is highly specific and discusses how people make decisions. According to the Bible, excellence demands that one be fully or completely whole. For instance, the Bible states in 1st Corinthians 3:13 that “each individual’s labor will manifest its genuine nature. Because the day of Christ is quickly approaching and will cover us in fire, it will be revealed. As for the caliber of everyone’s work, the fire is the thing that will test it (New International Version). The verses show that the biblical notion of quality stresses individual input linked to motivating rewards, in contrast to the standard business concept of quality.
