Prioritizing Space Allocation of a Division II College Athletic Facility

Prioritizing Space Allocation of a Division II College Athletic Facility

Prioritizing Space Allocation of a Division II College Athletic Facility

The biggest worry for any business, especially sports, is money. The choice to allocate space for a Division II collegiate sporting complex is a significant financial investment. Comparatively speaking, Division II is more compact and has fewer fans than Division I. Division II, however, brings in less money. Finding room for a Division II college requires time and effort. I suggest allocating a Division II college athletic facility, as neither a specified location nor a budget has been set aside for this investigation.

I will give the physical education department preference as I have a BA in physical education. The athletes are less professional than Division I because it is a Division II college. PE classes are therefore given precedence. Sports in colleges come in second. However, Division II colleges must prioritize this program. I suggest that players in Division II should seize the chance to hone and polish their abilities before advancing to Division I. Space allocation is crucial for them. Nothing else, such as a staff shortage or space, should disrupt or postpone their practices or exercise. Before transferring to Division I, athletes might use Division II College as an excellent launching pad to determine their future sporting career route.

There isn’t a pressing demand for permanent space for the REC program. Most Division II colleges are struggling financially, as well documented. This indicates that any REC program could be terminated at any time. For instance, only a few of the larger universities in the nation had to eliminate their whole sports programs. Almost every NCAA Division I athletic department seeks ways to decrease costs.

As a result, neither the REC programs nor the Department of summer camps are constant or permanent. The REC program can use classes and offices after 2:00 PM and share a space with the PE department. On the other side, summer interns are also permitted to utilize the classrooms and offices during the summer when students are not in class. As a result, the school can make significant financial cuts.
