Course Progress Report
My personal relationship objective was to strengthen my bond with my daughter.
My daughter was becoming disrespectful and disobedient to me, which damaged our relationship and was the main problem harming my relationship with her. My kid would frequently object to practically anything I asked her to do, whether at home or in public. My daughter’s embarrassing actions upset me, but I always assumed that she was disrespectful and defiant because she detested me. In this instance, maintaining a solid relationship with my daughter, teaching her useful skills, and upholding a loving and caring parent-daughter relationship are the personal relationship goals I hoped to attain by putting the course’s lessons into practice.
So far, the lessons from the course have greatly aided me in learning how to maintain my composure and refrain from retaliating when my daughter acts disrespectfully or disobediently. Instead of getting upset, I concentrate on imparting to her important knowledge and showing her the proper respect. Additionally, using the effective communication techniques I’ve learned in this course has enabled me to teach my daughter how to be respectful and obedient by using kind and loving words rather than punishing her for disrespectful and rebellious behaviors. Most significantly, I’ve learned how crucial it is to apologize to my kid when I wrong her, which has improved our relationship from the start. In terms of my current personal relationship aim, some of the objectives I have met include forging a close bond with my daughter and imparting to her some priceless knowledge. But to fully achieve my relational goal, I need to adjust or get better at a few things, like teaching my daughter to disregard any disrespectful or rebellious behaviors she exhibits and utilizing rewards to praise her polite and compliant actions. These strategies and the course lessons will help me reach my individual relationship goal.
