OBSERVATIONAL LEARNING (modeling
You can utilize the textbook, but also find at least three other sources to provide information and support your paper. The outside sources may include research articles from educational or psychological journals, books dealing with your topic, and possibly a newspaper or magazine article (like Psychology Today) concerning your topic. Only one of your outside sources may be a newspaper or magazine article. However, all of your outside sources must come from the Central Texas College Library. An example topic might be Modeling; Observational Learning. You could utilize the textbook as a starting point, then find three outside sources concerning modeling.
The paper should include the following elements:
- A description of your research topic.
- A summary and integration of the sources you have found as they relate to your topic. Describe the strengths and weakness of the sources you have found.
- Please include your personal ideas on the sources you have utilized.
The research paper should be at least 4 pages, including title page and reference page. Your paper must be in APA or MLA format, typed/word processed, double-spaced.
See Helpful Resources for Papers/Projects in the section below for information on APA/MLA writing style. In addition, there are many resources on the Internet. For example, you can Google “APA converter” or “APA apps” to find sites that will generate citations for you automatically. The same is true for MLA. This will make your life so much easier. You just fill in the necessary information and the heavy work is done for you. **Always double check the citation, as the converter site may not necessarily convert the citation correctly.**
